The wrong group of people

Upon hearing about the recent Amish country shooting my initial thoughts are that of all groups of people this is the last ones I can imagine this happening to or having any modicum or potenitally deserving it. For such a peaceful, pacificist, not in your face group this appears extremely shocking.

One can only hope that in the face of all that is done in the name of religion, we can look at the example and how they deal with this event - I would expect with forgiveness, greater solidarity, and faith - as a model of reactionary actions. May the juxtaposition of this act of extreme violence with their pacific outlook be a guide for us all.
